What's New Scooby Doo?

Mornings a bit of blur other than Sheila's in the library so we fill her with tea, laugh at the notion of flu buddy's and because I know from doing the news that today is Blue Monday the most depressing day of the year I'm determined to be cheery all day! Catch up with the ever lovely Rachel from Faz, a cunning plan seems to be coming together.

PM Senior Managers meeting, useful for me because it highlights the PCTs priority, tells me stuff about the route of travel for the provider arm and generally provides food for thought. Nice to see the folk in the room, colleagues from over the years that are now scattered about the city. We even get a name check as a service from the Chief Exec!

I have to leave ealy to be up in Faz to pick the boy up from Jack's. In celebration of his birthday they've been picked up from school by the Mystery Machine and on a Scooby Doo themed journey have enjoyed music, lights, DVDs etc. Jeez, in my day a couple of rounds of musical bumps, some egg sarnies and half a grapefruit bristling with sausages and cheese and pineapple on sticks. OK so things improved(?) for my little sister with the odd addition of a children's entertainer but the rest... beyond our wildest dreams. Mind you as I hate golden age theories I don't think it was any better in the past or in the present, just different.
