Lazybones

A day of laziness, furl and format the news but apart from that do bugger all except tidy the kitchen. The height of energy expenditure will be taking Monst to work. Cal has been playing the 'Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe' game on his Playstation and is struggling with Ogres. He gets upset when they kill him but I kinda like the ogres so I'm rooting for them. Other than that just the delight of listening to Arsenal demolishing Middlesbrough and as this followed Manure's loss at Citeh a good football day all round. Furl is acting the goat again making doing the news today a bit of a more evil experience than usual. Seem to have got round the issue in the main though.

Head up to Sainsbury's to fetch some food for tonight and for Cal's packed lunches over the week. Suprised to find a Stiff Little Fingers compilation for a low price. I buy it more because the thought of SLF in genteel Woolton amuses me.

Round the Bend

Yay! No spelling homework for Cal, which means no major homework grief for me. Instead we have the delights of the Oxford Reading Tree and tales of Dad, Mum, Biff, Chip, Kipper, Wilf, Wilma and Floppy. Reading I like... mind you I would doing what I do. Cal makes his own breakfast so I kind of dread venturing into the kitchen post homework. Still it needs a good seing to anyway. Furl the news and relax. Cal was given 'Round the Bend' a game of plumbing that the Early Learning Centre are punting out at the moment. Maybe it'll encourage youngesters into the trade, they'll be making a mint if they do.... Still it is a game of some strategy and the swine beat me.
