Interesting chat with the old fella about 'Modern Apprenticeships' because Liz over at Salford's interested in that kind of gig. He got quite excited about it, anyway I need to put the two of them in touch so Liz can make sense of what he said. My chat with Liz was fun but it's a cracker of an idea and it'll be really interesting if she goes for it. Like 'New Deal' which I'm getting interested in, it's all about getting local people into work. Good solid public health stuff, and good PR for the PCT your in. Also got a gig to see our deputy chief exec about the accreditation, looks like he's gonna earn his sandwiches.....
