Motorway Madness

The shagging motorway was shut between Shap and Tebay. The plod direct us off, give us a single diversion sign and then a modern version of the old follow the hippy plan in Hammersmith to find the gig. The updated version involves following the truck in front. The usual result happens, it's an interesting diverion, we get lost, the truck in front gets stuck in a narrow lane and we turn around and sneak through the back entrance to Tebay services. Stop for a pee and to ask what the hell is happening. I pick a junior chuckle brother who's response is to giggle. We decide to risk returning to the motorway and it's car free for the first ten miles or so, its very eerie. Odd and I don't exploit it.
