Nice to know I do one day a week for a Stalinist organisation. I'd never noticed before, maybe it's the lack of collective farms, nobody having a picture of the chief exec hung above their desk and the fact that I'm not worried about a swift visit from the NKVD. Still next time I'm up there I'll have a look just in case I've missed them.

News is done early in the day. Cal and I due to go for a swim, then I must get on with some FoI work. Deadline is tomorrow for all redactions to be submitted for a public interest test. I suspect this is one of the reasons I'm a bit testy about the above. News doesn't bother me really at the weekend, it keeps me informed but this FoI stuff at the weekend is theft of my time. I could be doing any number of more interesting things (not that I would be to be brutally honest but that ain't the point). Still at least I can relax for the remains of the morning and take my frustration out on a carrot as I cook dinner later.....
