Flight of the Heffalump

Todays the day we fly, so what do I do, head to Reggie. Few printer problems at home (a vital piece is in the loft) so nip in to print a series of emails. In the process I leave a couple of heaps of stuff for Christina. Discover that there are problems with Lorenzo and Choose & Book, laugh like a drain as a result. Home by 8.00, wash up, tidy the kitchen and blog. Now we have a day full of laundrette visits, haircuts and hanging around to look forward to. It'll be a relief to get on the bloody plane. Best Laid Plans and That Old Tosh

So here was the plan:

1. Take Cal to his mate Owen's
2. Monst to go to hairdressers
3. Me to tidy up downstairs
4. Monst on return to tidy upstairs
5. Pick up Cal, eat, bath bed.

Fell down on point two, three and four, I have the kitchen to do, Monst has the bathroom still to do and hairdressers weren't available today. So now continue with the kitchen AM tomorrow, take bedding to the bagwash and Monst sorts hair. Then fly. Why'd it all fail, well for one I have an ongoing FoI request, I finally track down the right people to talk to today. It turns out the requestor has been given some bum advice from DoH. It must be bum because I tracked down what he was after wth two calls, one of which was a wrong number. Not impressed. Drop the requestor a mail and ask for further clarification.
