A day which begins with the news of the demise of Fluff Freeman (dunno if this is sad news or just news. I was never a big fan but it does cause me to speculate as I hear Paul Gambaccini utter his tribute on the radio, who are they gonna get to utter tributes to this master tribute utterer whe he shuffles off this mortal coil) drifts through kinda strangely. FoI meeting that didn't happen yesterday slots in today. My are the innocents abroad! New MP request comes in which means I call the information commissioner. Confirms my views on it and comes up with some interesting stuff around duty to assist.

Afternoon Collections Management meeting - looks like it'll box some stuff off. Ingrid sorts out the BMJ Journals links for us at a regional level. Cool stuff. Nice to see Victoria over along with the usual suspects. Sharon is there from Ashworth, stoopidly I assume she knows everyone. Forget that being out and about is not a priority in some places. Ooops! Good sesh!

Katherine makes me laugh later post meeting, message to call her only to be informed I've been replaced by Google. Good stuff and so true!
