Back to Disney - Magic Kingdom

So off we head to the Magic Kingdom and head straight for the Buzz Lightyear ride. There in a frenzy of fiendly fire I not only shoot the minions of the Emporer Zurg but the family too. Still when in Rome and all that... I shock the family by shooting more aliens than they do, must be generations of poachers in the genetics!

I am still suprised no matter how many times I've been to this gaff how many adults get off on the 'Magic of Disney'. Yeah, right, the magic of a big organisation that is bent of grabbing yer dosh! However there is a kind of magic in the place but it's all located in the happy faces of the kids (that is when they aren't being slapped by their parents!) Bottom line is that these faces say bugger the politics of Disney, he might have been a dreadful old reactionary but that ain't gonna stop us having fun.

Cal though isn't well and by lunchtime he wants to head back to the room to rest. I head to Downtown Disney for headphones at the Virgin and a pint at Raglan Road. Good it is too!

Meet the folks back at Pop Century and then head back to the Magic Kingdom. We have dinner booked at the Liberty Tree Tavern, where moth eaten rugs will be dressed as calonial rebels.... Cal leads us round and we generally chill. We avoid the parade for Wishes and watch the fireworks from elsewhere.

The meal is a set menu but we've all arrived at the point that we could eat a scabby cat. It was more than adequate to fill a need. Cal though is ill and tired and we're back in bed by 10.00.
