Leaving on a Milk Float

End of the month and everyone is leaving. Yesterday I got brutal and lost the collective Fade photo from our website. It had to be done with half the people on the photo now former Faders. So Christina leaves today, and I'm convinced I'm not gonna see her. Have to come into fetch the Blackberry which I stupidly left here last night and do a few things before heading to the Heaf'. Leave Christina a wee note and leave late for the Heaf. Also leave the trad farewell on LIHNN.

At the Heaf involve myself in some stock selection (nurse prescribing) and then chase around for a book for one of today's other leavers, Jim.

Ring work only to discover there is a film unit in and my call came at the wrong moment. Need to watch the beeb local stuff tonight to see if we can add an 'As seen on TV' tag to the library!

Lunch at the Stag Inn. Suzy is leaving too so a double affair. Sad to see the pair of them go Nice meal, beer is good Okells IPA of which I'm sure Shan would approve, I make my usual disparaging remarks about Old Speckled Hen (only to be drunk in madder homesick moments). Good chat, good company, nice do. Jim as ever makes me laugh and I shock David with the little I know of musicals (blame Saturday night movies when left at my Grandparents) Rounds off one of my stranger visits to the Heaf. While I'm there I accidently come across the Museum of Modern Betas which looks well worth a longer investigation tonight. Scoot back to Fade and catch Christina. Glad I do (I own up there is a little emotion inside the nasty exterior!) Sad to see her go but glad for her too, she's going to what looks like a fascinating job.
