Aerodrome

New Years Honours today at the Marriott in Speke and with the web down and mails coming in thick and fast from the Heaf' and a hot phone and I'm chasing my tail. Richard sorts a few books and induction packs. Good stuff, we even lend three of them on the hoof. Meetings dominate early morning as we wait on the web too. Event is nicely put together but too many people in a small room, no room really for a stand to operate properly not helped by a later arrival than planned. Can' be helped stuff needed doing. Canapes not my scene and there is never a justification for Queen. The Marriott is an interesting venue and nice to see some people we know and like.
