Passover
Day begins badly, I'm kinda comatose as I roll out of bed and do some work, crawl back into my pit work done and promptly fall asleep. This is a pain because I leave much later than I intend. Still have time to pick up milk because I don't trust milkmen not called Eric the Milk (who delivers to home without fail, Gawd Bless you Guvnor!)
Odd day, I'm on my tod in the library which is nice in some respects as I make headway on certain things, a bummer in others because there are a few things I need to chat to people about. Pleasant suprises are a chat with Sally (always nice to chat with Sally), unpleasant suprises come in the shape of a couple of reptiles. WFAS keep me sane. Sort train tickets for my protracted visits to the land of Manc. Leave a smidge early to pick them up at Portia. Weird being in the commercial centre of town again. Traffic is dreadful, just make Portia by the skin of my teeth. Home, feed a hungry cat, let the cat now with crossed paws out, sort some sounds. Head upstairs. Realise that I've not publically celebrated Dave's news, good on yer boy, he has a job in Hammersmith (to me home of the Clarendon, Odeon and Palais - in that order).
